Overview of 1st Grade Art
In First Grade, students explore the theme of Place.
Students will examine this theme through Big Ideas, including:

Artists design places.

Places can be real or imagined.

Artists are inspired by their environment.

People create art to communicate and understand their place in the world.

Available tools, materials, and resources influence the way art is made.
